claudia hammerschmidt therapy

Welcome!
I’m here to support you through life’s challenges, whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating a major life change. With a compassionate approach, I delve into how past experiences—particularly grief and trauma—shape your current relationships and sense of self.
Approach
My background in grief and attachment allows me to understand the profound impact these experiences have on our lives. Using a combination of depth psychology (including inner child work), somatic therapy mindfulness techniques like breath-work and meditation, and attachment theory (for a relational aspect), I aim to help you feel grounded, seen, and understood.
Therapy can be challenging, but together, we’ll gently bring old wounds to light and foster healing. I believe that even in difficult moments, feeling genuinely heard and valued can be transformative, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Demographic
I work with children, young adults, individual adults, families, and couples navigating life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing loss from a relationship ending, the passing of a loved one, or changes in your professional life, I’m here to help. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, I guide clients through their healing journey, fostering personal growth amidst life’s transitions.
